Kingsmead, Northwich: extra care living facility

The brief 

We were appointed as Project Architects on this extra-care residential scheme in Northwich for Wulvern Housing, based in Crewe. The site adjoins the towpath and overlooks the River Weaver, and comprises 58 lifetime home apartments, together with a restaurant/bistro, public lounges and sun terrace.

The outcome

Site works have now been successfully concluded, with the finished scheme being shortlisted for the 2018 LABC North West Building Excellence Awards.
